I just scrolled down to my suggestion of a decapitated pink as a method for problem feeders. I was very surprised that, instead of using this "gruesome" method (which apparently should be next to last resort), braining was suggested.

OK...I've done both in the past. First, I personally have had more luck with the decapitation method. Second, decapitation is not any more "gruesome" than braining in my opinion. Actually, I find it quicker and cleaner. Finally, neither method is radical in any way and there is NO reason that the decapitation should be considered "last resort" in any way. If it works it works! Force-feeding is the last resort & a HUGE step from either of the above. I have never force-fed a snake, but have had HUGE luck with the decapitation method.

My 2 cents. Duffy
