2005 Lemon Pastels

joseph02 May 12, 2005 06:16 PM

This is selective breeding at its best. I produced 10 clutches last year and I held back the best of the best male. This year I have bred him to some blushing reduced patterned nl females and I am amazed at the quality.
I believe more than ever that the nl normal female is a very important part of the co-dom breeding and that pastels selected based on quality AND lineage consistantly produce the best offspring.

I guess Andre proved this last year.

Tony, good to see you around again. Thanks again for that tips with my eggs, they look much better now that I am incubating them the way you said that I should. I guess I should have listened in the beginning.

I believe the normal females/males have as much or more to do with how a co-dom animals trait/color turns out in the offspring, but I dare not say that on this forum.

Again, very nice pastels.

If you breed WC junk then expect offspring that look like WC junk.
Nice quality CB females have and always will produce better looking offspring.
Congratulations again!

GOD Bless
Andre
