Let's see some pics of everyone's Best Odd Balls that they hope to prove out

Lizards of Oz May 12, 2005 07:11 PM

I thought it would be fun for everyone to post some pics of their craziest looking one of a kind Balls that they hope to prove out one day. If anybody just got in some crazy looking Balls in their 2005 shipments let's see some of those too.

Nothing really to 'prove out' she's just nice looking. I got a shipment of 25 female from Ben Siegle and she's one of the nicest. I got a number of them that seem to have a lot of 'orange' highlights.

Yellow Blotch... one gravid girl from him so far.

My Bronze Blusher... missed two girls, but I now have him on a 3rd.

This is a 2004 female. I have not coined a name yet... she's very unusual looking... all reds and yellow.

Last but certainly not least... My Hyper Melanistic Striper... He actually started breeding again last night. Only one previous copulation a few weeks back. Hopefully he gives me a clutch or 3 this season!

on your untitled ball female ---does her blluchings have a purple color to them and does she have a clear belly?
I have a male that looks just like her but the blushing color is very purple (couldn't really tell from the pick)
Mine looks like a fire ball with out the ghost hue
I call him the Sherbert ball because his markings are light and has nice pastelly purple blushings
Hope to bread with a unproven cinny next year. Good Luck!

I got him from Ralph Davis with paperwork but he is really different looking. I need to take a picture of him and post it later on. He was not so strange looking as a youngster. He had more blushing than most but now as he keeps shedding he really looks very different. His color has changed to where the background (I guess you would call it that the part that is usually black) is now a khaki color from so much blushing. Kind of like pastels have but greyer looking, outlined in dark black. The pattern part is a nice color with a nice yellowish/tan tone to it. A really whacky looking normal.
I tend to have pretty good "breeding mojo" with my lizards as I bought two beardies that were high yellow and just felt I needed to breed them together and I produced one of the "transparent" beardies which are a pretty new morph and kind of expensive for beardies.
I hope my "mojo" holds out with the pythons and i get something nice frome one of mine.
If not i love them all just as they are. I think I have a nice unique looking bunch of normals.

This is Bela. She was sold to me as a Normal with a "nice reduced pattern." I hope to get a spotless male and see if this kind of trait is inheritable. my brother in law has a nice male that I am just trying to con out of him; but I will probably do a breeding loan from him. :D

This girl is one of my favorites, i think she looks like a golden mojave or cinny, really really odd in person!

This girl is called Super Blush, i had to fight off everyone who wanted to buy her last year and i still get offers on her from my collections page lol.

Harlequin, just got this guy

I call these lavender sideds, these guys must have some potential, i ve some of the bigger breeders say they are worth a lot and to keep her! I found one more this year!!! and hes even better than her
