Roaming desert buddies * An Afternoon Nap !

PHEve May 13, 2005 11:05 AM

Took this yesterday after lunch (their lunch) LOL Hershey the desert Iggy, had just finished a plate of veggies and dandelines. Oh what a lazy contented look

He and Chippewa, the C.vestigium / Baja collared after eating their fill, climbed up on the basking rocks, in the corner of the room, where they roam with KONG, a big ole Aquaflame collared.

The three enjoy themselves and each other. KONG is apparently off on one of his daily adventures......

Teasing , all the lizards in their cages,

They look like they're living it up

I caught my first collared, a female great basin last month. I released her after a lengthy photo shoot; I can definately see the appeal. I caught I really little desert ig on the trip too, if I had room for another tank, he would have followed me home

the part with the iggy following you home, LOL

I would love to go herping, but I would be afraid of what I may have follow me home each time.

They are all just so beautiful, so unique ! So interesting !
