Please sign this petition although it doesnt have anything to do with venomous snakes if the law goes unchanged it can and more than likely will lead to the banning of venomous reps. in pa. Even if you dont live in pa your support is welcome. We all know some of the stupid laws that are out there regarding the keeping of exotics, but this one by far takes the cake! Hedgehogs, small, harmless creatures closely related to moles, have recently been deemed illegal. This pet trade was once very prosperous here in pa and almost every petstore int he state sold some kind of hedgehog. Now becaus e of the fact that they arent native to Pa they are illegal. Laws like these tend to occur in groups, meaning if hedgehog are illegal then soon your pet snakes may be too! How would you feel if the state came in and took all your venomous snakes and either placed them in an animal sanctuary, placed them with the SPCA, kept them in small, improper cages for the rest of their lives or just downright euthanized them?
