I was wondering if any of you sacramento fellas have been out and about and if you've found anything good lately?

I collected another Elgaria multicarinata from work last night. I on the other hand am a little lucky. I am not in the Sac area but rather in the foot hills near Lake comanche so there is a whole lot more room near me and habitat to find herps. My father and I have been going out nearly every week for the past 2 months and so far I have been lucky with my finds. This weekend however they are calling for rain so I might not goout but rather woork on my research truck, its time for new tires and that darn smog and registration.

My reptile research and collection
Usually every time I go out a see tons of Gilberts and Westerm Skinks, Fence Lizards, and Garter snakes. I commonly see sharptails, Northern Pacifics, Kingsnakes as well. I know where tons of gophers snakes are as well, but not in the same spot as all the others. This is all in Sac.
I was just curious if ya found anything good.
the only day i have free is monday, finals and work dont help. im going on monday to snipes park and shadow glen. im also going up to the shasta area next saturday to monday, so i anticipate lots of fence lizards and hopefully a snake. i have only found a one snake snake up there so better luck this time!
Good huntin,
