My dog Teddy and the rat chow

DeMak May 16, 2003 09:31 PM

O.K. so I have a weird dog. After I got finnished cleaning cages tonight, I heard this crunching behind me. Teddy, my dog, was eating the rat chow! I think she was pissed at not getting ALL the attention.

another odd "feeding" story for ya.. LOL

my nephew was out helping me clean my rats and mice about 2 weeks ago and hes 4.. so im busy cleaning a tub of rats and i hear him crunching on something in the background.. so i turn around and hes got his hand in the lab block bag and hes grabbin another block..

i said "What in the world are you doin boy?".. he replied with "These waffers are good Uncle Dan".. LMAO.. he had been snackin away on some lab blocks for about 5 min.. LOL.. needless to say i didnt want to freak him out by saying it was rat food.. so i popped one in my mouth and joined him LMAO.. (not too bad i might add.. kinda dry tho)..

just when you think you've seen it all with animals and kids.. they up and pull something totally messed up on ya.. LOL..

(no children were harmed in the actual process of eating the lab blocks, he just wasnt as hungry come dinner time.. LOL)

my dog loves mouse food pellets. the first time she "met" the mice she went straight for the food bag. i offeered her one to see if that's what she wanted, now she gets them as treats every once and a while. she goes nuts for the things for some reason.
