I have a pair of Spotted Pythons which I noticed mating almost every day for a few weeks in the fall but my female never showed any signs of being gravid. They are both adults. I was wondering if since they have such a huge range in Australia that maybe I have a southern pair and they needed to be brumated and that this was why my male was shooting blanks. Any advice on this would be great. I'd hate to brumate them only to have them croak on me from being out too long or have an infertile male again from being in too short.
