Cheap adult housing ideas needed...

Misskiwi67 May 14, 2005 03:29 PM

Would anyone here recommend housing an adult boa in a large aquarium???

I think it would be a pain to keep clean, but I need some cheap ideas for someone on another forum. He's hell bent on getting an aquarium...

A boa would need at least a 125 gallon tank as an adult though, so I don't know how cheap it is going to be. You may find broken ones at a cheap price, but a normal 125 gallon is in the $300-$400 dollar range, super heavy and hard to get a tight fitting top for.
The Ronne or Barr cages are not badly priced at all, both going about $200.00 for an 8 sq foot cage (2'x 4' x 12"
Good luck

20" x 52" x 14" tub... very close to the same size at the 4 foot cages offered for around $200 by a few suppliers.
