I have seen a lot of people comment that they have not seen theirs eat so I put a black light in last night and fed my Mangrove. I am used to constrictors so it was really strange to see her eat. I must say that I fed her a mouse that was well larger than anything I had fed her before. She grabbed it off her ledge where I left it and hung it from her mouth. Rather than using her body, or a branch for leverage, she just muscled the mouse down with her jaws. My JCP loves to eat while hanging from a branch but uses her body to hold and even push the food down. Not the Mangrove, she let it hang and just slowly walked her jaws down the mouse. It took a long time but she got it down. Anyway, thought I'd share, Eric
