I want both but which one do you think would be better for a high school student. I have done tons of research on both!!!

I'll leave it to people who know more about Anoles than I do to discuss their good points. As far as Beardies I have more experiance. They make great pets, are easy to feed and because of their size they are easy to handle. Your housing requirments are so different with the 2 species that this may be a factor in your decission. Always be careful housing reptiles together (even the same species). My Beardie is 3 legged from being housed with a more dominait male.

If you want a reptile that you can handle more than once per month go with a bearded dragon. Anoles should only be handled when they need to be taken out of their tank so that it can be cleaned.
