HI

After all the great advice about my bedding and a big new custom built cage i thought about a cage with crested and gargoyles, mayb some anoles and some skinks. Ive done it b4 with a crested, 3 green and 2 browns and a little ground skink. This cage is 4 feet high, 4 feet wide and 5 feet long. It has everything live plants, branches, rocks, a little pond and a waterfall in it. I want to do cresteds, gargoyles, green anoles, croc skinks. Rite now i have 2 female crested and i mite try to cross crested and gargoyles cuz ive done it with green and brown anoles b4. well tell me what u think and be tough also cuz i want to know any problems.

Thanks
PAul

There may be some issues keeping cresteds and gargoyls together. Now this is debateable, and obviously it happens cause hybrids are available. BUT
Gargoyls are likely to make a snack of your cresteds tails. They often feed on each others tails in a community of gargoyls. It's not such a big deal for them 'cause they grow back on gargoyls, but crested tails don't grow back. It can be said that cresteds don't really need their tails, and in the wild they often don't have them anymore.
Personally i would keep either cresteds or gargoyls. Cresteds are more likely to leave the other animals alone, as i've heard gargoyls can be more tenatious.

Uhhg...i can think of so many problems....
1) Gargoyles can be a little feisty as stated......biting off crested tails and all.
2) That cage would be way too large for smaller rhac species.
3) Most anoles carry parasites that the CB gex can contract.
4) they all need different temps.....anoles like 90 basking......cresteds.....NEVER over 78.
5) Anoles are diurnal......rhacs are nocturnal.....they will interfere with each other's sleeping time.

I do not think this is a good idea at all.....its best to stick with one species per cage.
