The one in the middle picture looks a lot like my honduran/pueblan cross. I really have no idea if they are the same though. Mine was simply sold to me as a homduran X pueblan. Maybe you should e-mail the seller. If you do, would you mind posting the answer. Now you have me wondering, THANKS!
Thats a good idea. I wasnt sure at first if Royal milk was a type of milk perhaps another name.
I realize now its a hybrid not that it matters to me because great loking snakes. I am going to email them now.
By the way what type of tempermeant does your hondo/pueblan have? I imagine skittish as young like most pueblans?
I have been seeing a few of those lately terrific looking to.
Thanks.
Mine is about 2 years old I have only had him for a little more than a month. Temperment is pretty good...just as nervous as any other milksnake. We just try to handle him as much as possible and that really helps. Like I said earlier, I don't know that he is a royal milksnake just looks like the one in the picture. When you hear back from the seller please post the answer. Also, where as you seeing hoduran/pueblans I have searched the web and can't anything? THANKS!
opps..I ment can't find anything.
I emailed the seller after I posted havent heard anything yet but its only been a day. You told me yours was a hondo/pueblan mix thats why I asked what type tempermeant.
The wide red bands make me think a Sinaloan Milk was involved in the cross.
a intraspecific sinaloan-honduran hybrid he called a sinduran back 10-15 years ago. could be that he is still making that cross (or is into subsequent generations from the same line), just calling it something different.
or it could be pueblan-honduran. either looks possible based on appearance of the animals pictured.
The place hasnt written me back yet so havent posted what it is. I was going to buy the extreme right snake as I want a nice looking hybrid and imagine thats what it is.
At this point not going to buy from them. I have bought a 2 snakes through the classifieds here and all got back to me within 24 hours during weekdays.
To bad I liked the snake.
