Has anybody ever gotten a Jackson's x. to eat an earthworm? they are so nutritious I am thinking about eating one myself, lol. Seriously though............

open the cage door and in front of him "show" him how yummy they are...you know 50/50! lol

mine eat them. you should keep the earthworms in some dirt that doesn't have any toxins init for a few days.
when you go to feed a cham a worm wash off the dirt. put the worm on a wide flat surface that the cham can easily get to (a potho leaf works) the cham will first shoot at it a few times and find that he cant grabb it them he'll move close and mabe try a few more times. sometimes they shoot their tongue really slow so they can grabb and it works other times the walk right up to the worm and eat it right off the leaf like they were drinking....its really cool
same can be done with slugs...jaxs love them but slugs NEED to be kept in a toxin free cage for a while.....a slug kill one of my jaxs!!
My male gaped at it and arched his back like it was a snake, the females just looked at it for a while and never took it. Maybe the worm was too big andor they weren't hungry. Thanx chamsrcool, you always answer my posts.
