Can chuckwallas ever becom docile? And if so do they make good pets? Are they hard to maintain? What are some needs inthe cage for a chuckwalla?
Chucks can be very docile--wild caught ones less so--- CB chucks can turn into "lap chucks" when properly handled. But--- first they must have proper housing( large caging) , plenty of heat, correct diet,plenty of rocks for hiding and a slow gentle hand from the keeper. They are not a good lizard for beginners--- but are excellent for a dedicated keeper.
