i have a six inch blackneck garter that will not eat. ive tried live and dead minnows, an earthworm, and cat food. i cannot find a toad small enough. any ideas? thx.

Can you get a hold of small frogs, like treefrogs? If you get really desparate, you could buy a green treefrog. You could try scenting pinkies with the frog, or if that fails, feed him the frog.

Make sure garter has a hot spot of 82-85 degrees and 70 or so on cooler end......if they are too cold, they won't eat or digest their food properly. chris
