what would you recommend as the minimum dimensions for a cage for two yellow ackies (Not the "western giant" yellows). I want to get a precision cage to keep a pair in when they get bigger, and I don't want to get one that's too small for them.

how much did ur pair cost, im looking to get, and where did u get them from, where they babys,
are they fun to have around
thanks
I ordered them but they still haven't arrived yet. I've been wanting tog et them for years though. I found them on the classified pages and paid 355 shipped for the two.
At least 6 feet long and 2 to 3 feet wide and as high as you like, they will climb too. That size will due just fine.
also, I do not think you should consider minimum as a guide, I think normal or suitable is much better. Also consider, the larger the cage, the more fun it is for you. There will include far more behavior with givin the area and tools to induce behavior. They cannot run if there is no where to run, or will not climb if there is nothing to climb, or will not dig, if there is not suitable dirt to dig in. So your cage is more about giving tools for the monitors to do things, then for the monitors themselves. Good luck, FR
