I read geebo's post about the problems with Zoo Med UTH's & rheostats and would like to know what is recommended as a reliable brand of UTH and electric heat controls are. The problems with Zoo-Med sound dangerous both for the leos and owners' houses as well. Thx!! RR

I have some exo-terra brand UTH that I like alot. They remind me of flex watt factory put together. I also have some ESU thermostats that I like. The rest of everything I use is flex watt with household type reostats or ceramic heat emmiters.

How do you set-up a household rheostat? I installed them all over the house, but am not sure about how to use with UTH's. Thx!! RR
