Feeding Problem

Hello, my ball was raised on frozen thawed and never really had any problems feeding. About 2 months ago, he ate live due to getting sick with a RI. He ate live no problem and now hasn't been eating frozen thawed. Have I shot myself in the foot by switching him over to live and now back to thawed?
