I got the mini superworms...I got them from reptile city...I found them on the net...I ordered 3/16 inch...it was one of the few places I found that offer mini ones...most places only seem to carry adult....had them shipped overnight, gutfed them...Little One seems to love them...I placed two in his dish...the movement caught his eye so he rushed over to investigate, licked one and then gobbled them up...the size I got is pretty small but boy can the worms move...they don't seem to stop moving and they move fast...I'd recommend them...much better than mealies...

Thanks for the info. I think I'll order some and try them out. Chiquita is a picky eater..I've tried just about everything and she'll only eat what she wants to! (clean fecal) The only thing she actually will stalk and gobble up is wax worms, but obviously I don't want to use too many of those. Spoiled brat! So maybe the movement of the superworms will grab her attention. Thanks again!

(P.S.- Nice pic of Smaug )

Denise, do not feed him too many of them, and dust them with calcium at every feeding.

I knew he would love them. Picky eaters will almost always eat them, but they will eat too many of them if given the chance.

thanks....I won't give him too many...now they are not necessary...started off by finding he would eat the crix if just placed in the tank, I was putting him in tupperware type container and putting crix in there...he now eats crix out of what we call "McDonald's"...a critter keeper with a hinged door...I put it in the tank with crix in...leave the door open and he's off...little piggy...he has a nice round belly and is lighter in color...
