Hey guys, I have a 48x18x18" tank with a screen top. I am intrested in turning it into a stacked tank system. I plan to do this by removing all of the top borders/screens and replacing it with a "fishtank" top they use to hold a second tank on top. A shop near my house has agreed to order a border for me and a tank to fit on top of it.

However, my current tank has a crack going down the bottom of it. Will this crack be an issue if I was to stack a tank on top of it?
