I picked up a few stacks and a few racks of the boaphile cages last year and I can't say enough ggod things about them. I plan on getting some more this year after season. Prior to that I was using Doug Barr's cages, which are also fantastic, but the built in heating feature with the Boaphile cages can not be beat.
I have never tried the vison cages, so I can not give you a fair compairison, but the Boaphiles are on top of my list.
Good Luck

I purchased a Boaphile cage last november for my 4yr. old male RTB (420D model). He is about 5 feet long and 10 lbs. I woke up yesterday and around the right side hinge were cracks in the plexiglass door. Boaphile advertises these are made for Boas so I daon't see how this happened. I emailed them this morning but have not had a response yet. I will post pictures later when my girlfriend brings me the camera. I hope the warranty they talk about on their sight covers this.

I prefer Vision Cages. Have lots of them in use. Strong, very durable, and with dual, tempered, sliding glass doors. I keep anacondas and retics in them with never a problem. The sliding glass doors are very important to me in dealing with the larger aggressive species. I have no problem heating them. Some say humidity is an issue but misting the cage solves that. To me lack of ventilation and fresh air in some cages is a problem. The vision Model 400 at $199 shipped is an outstanding value in cages. Bill.
