I know I haven't posted in a long time, I've been busy with finishing up school. But here are some pics I took of my baby yesterday. (I'm in the last pic to show how big he is, I'm a tiny 5'6", 105lbs.)

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!

Have you had any "testosterone" problems out of him over the years? Any aggressiveness?

Also, how old was he when you got him?

I got him when he was 6 months old. He has never been aggressive, but when he used to go into breeding season, we had to watch him around stuffed animals, socks, pants, etc. He's like a senior citizen now, and just hangs out on his Natuzzi recliner by his lights.

Not questioning you but is he is a male? Its crazy how different the localities are. The females of my males locality look very similar to your guy. The jowls on my Ig are huge which helps in a physical id. Thats awesome you've had him that long. I'm sure you've made many sacrafices. I'm not sure if you have read any of my previous posts but I stated in one that people always ask what are you going to do with him, what do mean I would say, hes my familia! My guy has been there depending on me for a number of years, hes my my boy and thats it. Even the hardest of times he went through it with me (suffering too) but like its said in this forum quite often most and mean most reptile people included are not ready for Green Iguanas. Keep on truckin'

He's the oldest pet I have, and he's always been an important part of my family. I honestly couldn't imagine how life would've been had I not gotten him. I used to be highly allergic to any animals with fur, and I also have a very low immune system, that's why I initially got into reptiles. I was 10 when I got him, and originally, my parents were going to get me a leopard gecko, but after I saw my iguana sitting at the pet store, it was love at first sight. We really didn't know what we were getting ourselves into. But, I even hate to say this, being at the age I was, and not being allowed to have any other type of pet, I had lots of time for him. That's why I think he is as tame as he is.
