best plants

I am thinking about putting a couple of live plants in my water dragons cage, so I was wondering what kind of plants everyone else has, and what are your favorites?
I am hoping there is one that is easy to care for (doesn't die easily), looks good and is safe for the water dragons.
Let me know what your favorites are, I'm thinking of getting one or two kinds and trying them in their cage.

I don't spend a lot of time in this forumn but I just posted a pic with about six different plant species, everything from common names: Pothos, Bromeliads, Ice plants, Snake plant, etc... All of which are found in tropical sections of hardware stores. Melissa Kaplan has an excellent resource online for compatable plants. Do some reading and good luck!

I have a 3 foot ficus and 2 draceana plants in mine. The 3 dragons are pretty tough on plants and beat them down pretty good. I would suggest any of the draceana varieties, but make sure you get a good, solid woody plant. Anything less substantial is just going to get trampled. My "corn" plant (also a draceana variety) has no leaves left-just the stalk. Next time tropicals go on sale, I will have to replace it. My dragons are 2 years old and Avanyu weighs over one pound and does a lot of damage when he jumps on something. I use silk pothos vines wrapped around very sturdy braided rope for some of their climbing and basking areas. Real pothos just gets shredded by their claws when they jump.
