Yesterday My son spotted and I caught a 2' male with yellow, black with green patterns on its sides here in Central VA. I was reading in "The Reptiles of Virginia" and there was no mention of this color. Does anyone know if this is documented?

Scott.

I am in SE Va, send me an email and I can put you in contact with the herpetologists who might find this interesting. Assuming you can provide a photo online. Just click on my log in name.
