Try it out and watch them for a while. If they act agressively. Separate them. If they seem ok, just be cautious the first while. I wouldn't recomend feeding them together. I had to fix one of my large cages, and just got rid of a smaller one. For about a week, I housed 2 adult reds, 2 adult b/ws. a sub adult blue, and juvie red, and juvie black and white all in the same cage. I've never had any problems with any of my tegus attacking others except at feeding time. Mine get pretty agressive and start biting eachother during feeding, so it's wise to separate atleast for that portion of the day.

However, I say be cautious because I've heard several stories of people coming back to shredded tegus after a cell mate took to be territorial.

I've also heard if you're adding an animal to a cage that an animal already lives in, mix it up. Stir up the dirt, move the objects in the cage, change everything around. This makes it seem like new grounds to the both rather than one imposing soley on the other.
