I am wanting to make a website to sell and show off some of my stuff and was just wondering how people make their websites and which company or person makes nice but not overally expensive websites.

try Web Easy Pro 5. you can find it at best buy or online. its a program that lets you make your own website. its possible to make yor own and has the potential to come out very nice. it wont be a 5 or 10 thousand dollar website but nice none the less. you dont need to know html code either, just drag and drop. it costs 45-60$ then they host you from 20-35$ a month (if you want) depending on how many items you want to sell in the e commerce part of the website. it supports credit cards and paypal too.
