awesome news. i cant wait until you actually get that camera you've been talking about so you can get those pictures you've promised everyone!!!
anyhow, i had my interview today for the fish tech job at the museum. i dont know if it went over that well. seems pretty evident that i need to do some studying on captive care of fish. granted my knowledge of the herps here in NC is SUPREME, its just that i never considered a job with fish until my friend told me about the opening. that wasnt the only downer though, he also told me starting pay is $6.50 to $10.50 based on experience, and seeing as my experience with fish is definitely on the lower end of that spectrum, i think if they DO choose me for the position i might have to decline in the long run. i just wont be able to subsist off the same pay i got with my first job back when i was 16! ::sigh::
for now, starting a breeding business sounds pretty nice compared to this crap. we'll see if i ever get the call back for the herp position.
good luck with them eggs, now that you know patience is key with those things, in a few months hopefully you'll be blowin up. my next pair of phant eggs should be due soon, so ive been keeping a close eye on em. looks like my female might even lay her 4th good clutch soon too, and man she honestly looks like the past 3 took no toll on her at all. while i'd like all the eggs i can get, i think its off to the holding tank for her soon.
