I NEED HELP! I GOT EGGS!

BRYAN139 May 17, 2005 07:02 PM

I bought three racers a few months ago. To make a long story short I was in the tank today after a few weeks of not being in there, just spot cleaning and I found these. Looks to me like 3 slugs and 2 might have been good eggs. Anybody know if these are any good or not? I candled them and couldn't see anything. They're very hard and dry and semi deflated. I had no idea the sex let alone one might be gravid. I need help.

They may have all been good at one time the center ones look to badly dehydrated to be save, but are still worth a shot the others are definetly not.

Put them in damp vermiculite and give it a try they can sometimes survive a dry spell. Mist them with a water bottle.

They don't seem to be getting any better but they don't seem to be getting any worse.

If they are coachwhip eggs they look dehydrated but they should live if you keep humidity high. I would ventilate egg container once a day since coachwhip eggs always like to grow fungus. I am worried though that you might have turned eggs, top should be marked so they are not turned over. I incubate at 82F.
