Greetings Everyone!

It feels like forever and a half since I last posted. My last update I think was that all the critters and myself made it safe and sound to NE.
Everyone is still doing wonderfully but I still feel like I've only been here a few months. LOL!

I hope to have some new updated pics soon and finally have more time to post again. woohoo!

Hope everyone has been doing great here!

Hugs!

Welcome back...I've been wondering where all the "old Skool" posters were...glad to see you made it through the New England winter!

TenorGoddess May 20, 2005 09:47 PM

Old School eh? lol!

I know this sounds crazy but I actually somewhat enjoyed the winter (remember, I'm from Texas where we technically don't get snow unless you are far up in the Panhandle...er, sometimes. lol!)
I'm sure after another winter I'll hate it. haha!
It is exceptionally hard to find important things up here:
good tex-mex food, a solid supply of Dr Pepper (stores carry it most of the time but restaurants look at us crosseyed when we ask for it), nice drivers (just kidding, well not really. People drive very aggressive here, LOL!)and as per my boyfriend's request, no Manwich bold...
it's definitely different but an adventure all the same.

It's great to finally feel like I'm settled in though (took me since what, August?! lmao). I just now have the time to start posting again and doing all the things I used to do (for the most part) while in TX.

Hugs!

Amanda

I missed being here. You got a chow? cute. What's his/her name?
I want a dog of my own SOOO badly. My boyfriend is a bit hesitant not being the biggest fan of dogs (though he admits he misses Honey, the dog I fostered for four months in TX). Maybe I should put on my best pouty face and he might cave due to my excessively pitiful state? Think that'll work? lol!

Manwich Bold? I have'nt heard that name in some 30 odd years.
Yeah...I'm really really Old Skool! Dr Pepper, now that you mention it, isn't offered in restaurants. But you can find it in 2 litre bottles!
Have you made a trip to NERD yet? Or their store, Zoo Creatures?
How about a locally caught lobster?
And trust me on this, the novelty of snow wears thin very quickly!

TenorGoddess May 23, 2005 06:24 PM

Well I did find Dr Pepper in stores in both 12 packs and 2-liter and you're right...no restuarant around seems to have it. haha!

I don't plan on loving the snow next year but we'll see what happens. haha! :D

I'll post more pics soon! My burm is finally growing. lol! (not that I'm in any rush but she is a slow grower...she's a lean muscular girl that's for sure, but she's not tipping the scales just yet). ;D

Hugs!

Yep! A 6 mo. old blue chow named Bruno. Our black one, Pivo, had to be put down due to a failing liver. His abdomen would build up with fluid and we'd have him drained every week. Our puppy was born the same day Pivo was put down. He's not the same though. Pivo was gentle and mellow. Bruno is mean and hyper. He and my wife go at it all the time. One time she punched a tooth out of his mouth as he was coming at her. We have an appt for a behaviorist next week.

I have some neat pics of Moses to post but they are on my wife's laptop. I'm starting a thingy where I take a picture of Moses draped ov the shoulders of people who come over. I'm going to stick the to the wall in my stairwell. He's gotten pretty big. He's almost 12 feet and over 45 pounds. May be a she, who knows.

Very nice!

Odd on the being born on the same day as your other baby being put down but I've seen odd stuff like that happen. lol!

Hopefully you'll be able to train the new pup. As you are probably saying "well duh" it'll make your lives so much easier. lol No doubt right? ;D

Hugs!
