Hello,
I'll spare you all the snake pr0n photos, suffice it to say that my gaigeae have been copulating enthusiastically. This is my first attempt at breeding reptiles, so I'm pretty excited. I've been gathering wisdom from all of the forum members for the last few years, so I'm pretty sure that I'm ready for what lies ahead. Unless I'm mistaken, I should expect a clutch of eggs from the female a week or two after her next shed, which will need to be incubated for about 80 days at 80 degrees. Does that sound about right? Hopefully I can get someone from the Maine Herp. Society to give me a lesson in "popping" so that I can sex the hatchlings. I'm sure I'll be posting lots of pictures and probably a few questions in the coming months!
Thanks,
Nate
