Temperament of Coxi?

JBsnake May 17, 2005 11:38 PM

Hi,
Of those of you keeping coxi, what is the general temperament of the snakes in your experience? I have heard conflicting information, some say the are calm and others say the are quick to strike and jumpy. Does the behavior change from hatchling to adult? Thanks!

I can only go by my yearling and my hatchling. Both are pretty flighty but handleable. The yearling will occasionally strike when he's not in the mood to be messed with, but I don't handle them much more than once a week during cage cleaning.

Thanks! Anyone else have coxi, and can tell me about the temperament of their snakes?

Mine are pretty grumpy. Flighty with an occasional strike when first pulled out of the cage. I also don't handle them much more than once a week. If I handled them more, I have a feeling they would be OK.

Last night I was laying in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, "Where the hell is my ceiling?"
