My little brother found out that is you rub the "lips" of a pacman they'll open their mouth. I have found that you can tease the frog by placing the head or the back of a cricket on its tounge. The frog will chomp down on the cricket and then swallow it. Is this a good idea? He does eat on his own, I just try it on the last cricket that is left from the 30 or so I buy. Also, I have had my pacman for almost 2 months, would it be wise to try a pinky?

I have always been under the impression that touching frogs was abrasive due to the grooves in our fingers, so I can only assume that "rubbing" would be worse.

has yours grown much? I've posted new pix of mine in the gallery and he seems to have doubled in size in the past 6 weeks.

You're basically stressing the frog until it bites, stop it, it's not good for it. Let it feed on it's own.
Too much stress will kill frogs.

How do you recommend feeding them a pinky? If you lay it in the cage it will rot. I've heard that if you wave it in front of them they'll bite it, but isn't that stress?

If it's a live pinky sit it in front of them and they'll eat it. If it's dead pinky dangle it from some foreceps and they'll take it.
