Pic of my adult pair of Rosalia Ratsnakes( Baja Ratsnakes) What do you think?

dangerdan May 18, 2005 10:54 AM

Sorry the female is in the blue. She will look better after she sheds. I hope that she lays fertile eggs this year. I have been working with these for quite some time now. I think this is going to be my year. Thanks for looking. I love the color of the adult male, his name is Big Red, he is huge.

Ive never seen them before.Do they require high humidity?..Paul

They do not need much moisture, that is a nest box for the female to lay eggs in, also it helps them shed. The Rosalia ratsnake is native to Baja California where it is very hot.

I've been a fan of the Baja rats for a few years. Pretty animals.

Good luck with the bajas! Do you know anyone who has axanthics?
See ya,

I know that they have pics at the Barker site. I think the animals passed without breeding. So I do not know of any other axanthic animals.
