Here's a puzzle

This lizard I caught 100 ft from a warm spring in Utah.

He runs with a swivel in his hips and makes his own burrows for actual living.

A very strong lizard for his size with a dark forked tongue like a snake.

hes a great basin whiptail(cnemidophorous tigris tigris) i believe.
they are a subspecies of the western whiptail.
