Corns and rats are dang near the same thing.Telling people ratsnakes will maim them isnt true.Yeah there are some rats known to be blood drawers. There are some that are just more high strung than others. My bairds rats are active, curious, strong
and non aggressive.I have a pair of amels that are lapsnakes.*I have a pair of hypo corns that I only try to hold when Ive had plenty to drink.lol.I just sold a pair of kingsnake juvies that would rear up just when I walked by them.Any snake has the potential to strike.Ive owned many boas,my guyanas were killer, but despite there gentle nature would get pissy sometimes.A 20 pound boa is a handfull when it decides it doesnt want to be held....Paul
