imridethelghtng May 18, 2005 04:31 PM

they are doing just fine growing like little weeds both have a agressive feeding response they are still small only eatting adult mice typical of retics they are putting on lenght and not alot of weight my female is more active than my male she is also more setteled my male is still a nervous little guy but he is getting better about handling i dont trust him not to bite yet but he isnt biting as often so thats a good sign i would say their lenght is between 3 and 1/2 to 4 feet i get decent sheds out of them not in one peice but two or three big peices my female kept spilling her plastic water bowl so i had to get a ceramic one she couldnt spill every single day so i replaced the males too while i was at it these guys are my second pair of retics the first retics i had i kept for 7 years while in my mothers house and she one day decided since my sister got pregnant that they had to go but they were a pleasure to work with and i am happy to have two new retics in my life now that i own my own home i hope you guys all enjoy these snakes as much as i do just be safe
