Neat head marking on this newborn...

RioBravoReptiles Jul 12, 2003 11:48 AM

This is a newborn Tarahumara boa or dwarf boa (BCI). These come from the northernmost range of Boa c. ssp.

He or she has a very neat head marking..

I'm not expecting! (not built for it)..

On a more serious note.. this season has not been as productive as I had hoped. I moved all my animals to a new room in the Fall and got rid of a few of my proven breeders to start new projects.

But we will still get Peruvians, a very nice litter of eastern Brazil redtails, Caulker Cay boas, Venezuelan redtails, Dumerils, some orange Sonorans and (most likely) Trinidad BCC.

I'm very worried about my Argentine female, though. She is overdue and not acting like she is ready to deliver.. We will see what happens.

minus the eyelashes and a bowl of ice cream little guy! you think you'll hang on to it and prove it genetic?

but seriously, pretty cool, should really stand out when it sheds!
good luck for the remainder of the year!
