Looks like I'm gonna end up with 6 healthy 50% het albino babies. My female turned out to not be a het as promised, big surprise. But either way, great "practice" clutch. I'm hoping to be seeing alot of pastels poking their heads out next season. My $200 camera seems to really suck but here are a few pics of what's going on right now. I'll post more when they decide to come out. It is still a little early though so I'm definitely not rushing them. I've calmed down so much just knowing they're healthy and whether or not my female was really a het. Thanks again for everyone's help.

. So, the odds of not getting any albinos from 7 eggs from het X het are 0.75^7 = .13 = 13%. Sure you had an 87% chance of getting one or more albino if both of these where hets but the 13% chance of them missing on a 7 egg clutch even if they are both hets isn't that far out there. Some one just hit on a 1 in 1024 chance of producing 5 female pastels from a 5 egg clutch of pastel X normal so your approximately 1 in 7.5 chance of missing on albino isn't that long of a shot in comparison although of course disappointing.
