I've been waiting for this since Sept 23, 04 (the day I found her). This is her in the middle of laying egg # 9!

This is a pic with all of her eggs (13). I counted 11-12 lumps weeks before, but I guess I was off by one or two. Sorry for the bad pics, the lighting was kept low as to not disturb/stress her out.

Can't wait to see what the next generation produces. We may be standing in line for some of those little beauties. Best of luck. Duffy

BlueKing May 19, 2005 10:22 PM

Thanks Duffy! I can't wait to see what pops out (hopefully all normal) but then again I'm happy either way. . .

If so, tell if I'm correct. You'll breed 2 of the offspring together and if indeed the golden morph is a genetic trait, some of the offsprings offspring will be goldens?

BlueKing May 19, 2005 10:23 PM

Yes a normal
And - Yes, on average 25% should come out with the "golden" look if the siblings are bred together.

BlueKing May 20, 2005 05:10 PM

Thanks, Paula. I am pretty excited since I've never found anything so unique before. Checked on the eggs today and they're nice and white. They all look fertile. Should be, since I left the male in there with her for 3 months, LOL!
