My dwarf caiman is a female. As in her temperament I don't understand it myself.I don't handle her that much and she is very tame.I have never had her try to bite me or go after me.She lets me pet her behind the head all the time. She lets other people also.I think she likes it because she never moves away from me like she bothered by it.I will say this that I would NOT trust her totally in any way.She still is a crocodilian that should be taken seriously with extreme caution and care. The measurement on her is 44" from snout to tail.I feed her rats, chicken, and fish. The enclousure that I have her in is a 900 gallon aquarium. She is the only one that I keep in an aquarium that is her size of animal. She is small and she seems to like her enviroment very well.I also have other babies in aquariums also. The only picture I have of one of my enclosures is my 240 gallon. This was when she was smaller.I will try to post more up.

mexican snapping??? ´never hear about it... where in Mexico... I live in Mexico

The turtle's geographical range is from Veracruz(mexico)to southern Guatemala to Caribbean Honduras. The turtles never bite the caiman. In fact they are the best of tank mates. The turtles will go out on the land and lay with the caiman. They even ride the caiman sometimes in the water. They are pretty much my garbage disposal for left overs from feeding.
