depends on how old he/she is. i have a male ghost corn that is @ 2 years old and he goes off feed because he want to serch for a mate.
my snakes general will go off feed when they go into shedding for 10-14 days. some will eat while in shedding and some won't.

Hope eats anything anytime....I think she will even eat while completely blue! But when she is older will she probably stop eating before a shed? or is that one of those they always do it or never do it things?

Not an "always or never" thing. But some snakes are very likely to eat "anything, any time" as you say. And others will usually NOT eat when in shed. I have some that will almost always eat, and some that practically freak out if I offer them a meal when their eyes are cloudy. Some I don't even bother trying if they are "blue" and others I will offer them perhaps a smaller meal and see if they want it. As snakes get bigger and more robust, they sure don't need to eat when in shed. Many think that you are better off not even offering. Some think you are more likely to get a regurge, but that has never happened to me.
