air temp on the hot side

basicly i cant have a thermomiter on the floor of the hot side all the time. so ilhave to have a themomiter neer the floor on the side what temp woul it read on the hot side

It is better not to use any stationary stick on thermometers as they are usually always inacurate. Even the stick on dial ones are too, the one i used to have in my beardies tank was 15degrees off. Buy a digital thermometer with a probe so you can check the temps anywhere, or better yet buy a temp gun from proexotics.com and you can measure everyone's temps whenever you want and it will be accurate.
