Yippie!!! Got my first leo today.

savana_man Jul 12, 2003 01:35 PM

My mom said no to a burmese python and rats, so i asked if i could get a leo and she said yes. My pictus geckos are looking at her through the glass and they try to lick her when she comes by. I'll post a pic in a min to see if you can tell what kind she is. She is beautiful!!

My dad told me that I couldnt get a python either. Then he said I could get a turtle or a lizard, as long as it wasnt an iquana or somthing huge. I knew right then that a leo was for me!

Of course there isnt black on the back legs, it hasnt even developed its spots yet. It is too hard to tell at that age. It could either be a normal or a high-yellow, not really a big difference between the two though.

Oh, well, I read somewhere that normals babies have just a tiny bit of black on their back legs, not spots but a little line almost, and high yellows dont have this, could be wrong though. later

They also had some albinos for $35 and up and one booth had adults for $25. Almost got one of those but my baby is better. LOL!
