gartersnk May 20, 2005 04:46 PM

Any suggestions or comments? Are they suseptible to skin blisters? Temperature requirements?

Very susceptible to skin blisters, I have 2 het albino ones right now that have them. You can prevent them if you keep the snakes in a dry enclosure. Temperature from 70 degrees to 82 degrees will be good. Most of them feed readily on worms and slugs. They are pretty easy to keep.

Thanks for the advice. Mine didn't make it, got skin blisters almost immeditately and died several days later. If I find another I'll start it out with a much dryer cage. Can they be kept through a quarantine period on paper toweling without drying them out too much?
