.....animal rightists might wana back click now..

I order live cull chicks on occasion, as I observe my captive snakes do better on a variety of food offerings including live & I suspect they have a higher quality of life...as I get older..I feel more guilt about keeping them! At least mine a re few enought that they all get out for lawn excercise..etc.

Anyway...I ordered these for my outdoor enclosure Ok Coachwhips...& there are a few getting too big, full of tasty nutricious bugs/spiders/rice/etc...

Chains always willing to help out-process the excesses...

1 week olds can be nearly too big eh...

Its looking pretty impossible...I hear wheezed breathing..

Mebbe...

Ill be darned...made it down...& ate 2 more

I purchased him from Bouef River Reptiles Alto La., 318.248.3823 / 318.376.4416 c La license 325243
[Peter & Sarah Lindsey].
A good guy in Lousiana who understood my crypto paranoia & worked out a fair deal w/me. Peter advised his understanding is they were C/B from S. Carolina stock, & from the other NC/SC jpgs posted here....Im inclined to accept this as being likely so.
When he arrived in Jan, I thought he was wild-caught due to defensive rattling/musking, but w/a bit of regular handling & plenty of food...hes settled right down, being quite the glutton & appears to be njoying his new life out west!

Cheers, RxR
