Louisiana pinesnake eggs today!

daveb May 20, 2005 07:15 PM

One of my Vandeventer females produced an unexpectedly large clutch today, 7 eggs with a total mass of 698g - almost 100g per egg and a mass greater than some of my adult kingsnakes. Needless to say I am excited. I know its sort of odd, but incubating eggs is one of my favorite parts of herpetoculture.
Pics of hatchlings just 75 days away...
