I have a Surinam Horned frog named Caligula and I noticed in his poop this morning some small worms. Does anyone know the name of a dewormer safe for him. thanks

You are asking for a home treatment for an undiagnosed condition. There is a reason only veternarians have access to the drugs you need, because only they are qualified to diagnose a condition and know now to properly treat it. I say all of that just to emphasize that you need to take it to a vet. And if the parasites are so numerous that you can readily see them, chances are the frog is LOADED. Therefore, the matter becomes urgent. Take it to a vet, and post back letting us know how it turned out. Good luck

I have a pacman that was loaded with roundworms. I took him to a herp vet and they gave him a dewormer. After passing a few more worms in the next few weeks the frog was fine and feeling much better. It is very treatable. i would recommend taking the freshest stool with you to the vet so they can find out what type of parasite it is by looking at the stool and its contents.

My frog had roundworms too. The vet gave him a dewormer and so far he is showing no ill effects. Thanks for the info.
