ok so heres the deal, i own 6 fish tanks and have a extra 20 gallon tall that is set up as terrestrial with a mixture of both live and fake plants. the substrate is dirt/moss and there are various branches etc. i want to stock it with something that will go in the current setup. mom hates snakes, so those are out of the question and id rather not have to feed the animal live insects all the time because i find it to be a little high maintenence. the lid is a medium mesh grate and i have two light bars on top (one flourescent, one incandescent). the tank is in my bedroom so the temperature is usually a comfortable constant. im posting this message also in the insect forum.
