I had a friend holding my new male red tail yesterday and he asked me if snakes liked being pet, as dogs or cats do, and honeslty i didnt know what to say.. So ive come to you guys! DO snakes indeed like having their bodies pet/rubbed? (I know half of you are going to laugh at me but hey, i would too =P)

Mine dont like that at all. if they cant see that your about to touch them it can spook them too.

I don't know if I would say they "LIKE" it. Probably just more or less learn to deal. I do however find my Gila's really do like a good rub? Just my two cents.....
